

Industrie-Club was founded in Düsseldorf in 1912 as a venue for the
Rhine-Ruhr region where leading personalities from the worlds of industry,
business, politics, science and the arts might meet.
As a supraregional forum of dialogue, Industrie-Club perceives itself as performing a signposting role within society while promoting international cooperation among national economies in the sense of understanding among peoples and a spirit of mutual tolerance.
This tradition-steeped Club continues to address this commitment by organizing talks, lectures and social get-togethers and through its publications.
Additionally, the Club provides financial support for university research, and teaching.
